CENTRAL COAST

Point Clare Dojo

Point Clare Public School Hall, Takari Ave, just off Brisbane Water Drive, Point Clare

Our Point Clare classes are held at the Point Clare Public School hall on Saturday mornings during the school term. We currently accept ages from 4 years to 9 years with two classes (the “Ninjas” and the “Samurais”) who are separated by age and ability. We are also trialling an adults class for parents and friends immediately after the kids classes. All classes are led by Sensei Mike who is a fully qualified Black Belt instructor with many years experience teaching  kids’ martial arts.

Point Clare Public School

Point Clare Public School is easy to get to,  has an on-site car park, with plenty of street parking also available, and is just a short walk from the shops for parents. For more directions please refer to the above map.

NINJAS:
4 – 6 year olds
Saturday 9.15 – 9.45am

The Ninjas are our youngest class and focus on a simple intro to martial arts. The primary focus is on listening, teamwork, fitness and respect. Techniques for this group are simplified and the emphasis in the class is placed on participation, confidence and effort. Due to their young age Ninjas grade on a separate system to our older students. Instead of receiving the typical solid-coloured belts, they receive a white belt with a coloured stripe until they are ready to “graduate” to the Samurai age group.

NINJA fees are broken down into the following costs:
Training Fee (lessons) = $170 per term
Enrolment Fee (one time only) = $75
Annual Public Liability Insurance = $20 per term, billed annually

SAMURAIS:
7-9 year olds
Saturday 9.45 – 10.30am

The Samurais focus on technique and application, including self defence, while continuing to develop their listening skills, teamwork, fitness and respect. A wider range of techniques are introduced including multiple punches, blocks, kicks, strikes, stances, steps and combinations. They apply these techniques through pad work, self defence and controlled sparring. Samurais grade on a solid colour belt grading system, with a white and then a black stripe between each colour belt.

SAMURAI fees are broken down into the following costs:
Training Fee (lessons) = $190 per term
Enrolment Fee (one-time only) = $95
Annual Public Liability Insurance = $20 per term, billed annually

We offer a FREE TRIAL for those looking to join!  You can join at any time throughout the term so you don’t have to wait until the start of next term. To book a free trial click on the link below:

We are also trialling an adults fitness/karate class by popular request! This class is not limited to parents of Karate for Kids students and is open to anyone over the age of 16 years. The class will run for one hour immediately after the Samurai class on Saturday mornings.

PLEASE NOTE: the Central Coast classes vary slightly in ages compared to our main Dojo in West Lindfield. For more information please visit Classes, Enrolment & Fees, Grading Info and Beginner Info or feel free to contact us.
