Confidence and Focus!

Our karate and self defence classes for kids aged from 5 years follow the principles and teachings of Karate for Kids.

Our Coaches are proficient and professional instructors with backgrounds in traditional karate and self defence. You will get a class full of traditional karate, simple self defence as well as have fun with age appropriate games and drills.

Students will be graded every term, and have the opportunity to demonstrate the techniques they have learned in classes.

Why Join a Karate Class?

Our karate classes are for all children aged between 5-11 years of age. Learning karate and self defence provides confidence and focus, through our formal and well structured classes. Safety is of prime importance and children are encouraged to work hard to achieve their karate goals. We make sure our classes are challenging but also rewarding and fun.

How to Enrol

Joining Karate for Kids is simple and easy! Once you’ve decided to join us all you need to do is complete our online enrolment form. once we have all your information we’ll be in touch with next steps.

Fees

There is a one time enrolment fee of $70.00 for new karate students.

A Karate uniform with embroidery on sleeve and a white belt is included with the enrolment fee.

For your first term training with us, we charge on a sliding scale, so you only pay for the lessons that remain in the term in which you join. So if you join mid-term, you only pay for the lessons to the end of that term.

Classes must be booked and paid for before attending.

Samurai Class (5-6 years)

  • $150.00 training fee per term per student
  • $25 compulsory annual public liability insurance fee

Shogun Dragons Class (7-11 years)

  • $200.00 training fee per term per student
  • $25 compulsory annual public liability insurance fee

Shogun Warriors Class (7-11 years)

  • $260.00 training fee per term per student
  • $25 compulsory annual public liability insurance fee

Shogun Power Class (7-11 years)

  • $330.00 training fee per term per student
  • $25 compulsory annual public liability insurance fee

  • Your first grade is free and all tip grades are free up to Brown Belt.
  • Coloured belt gradings are on a sliding scale from $20
  • New Coloured belts are provided fee if you pass the grade test
  • All tips are free if you pass the grade test

We offer a 10% family discount for children who have brothers and sisters already training with us.

This discount also applies to students who train in karate AND boxing.
